Indonesian Ikats

I proud because ikats include in english. ikats is binding in indonesian language. we named woven cloth is tenun ikat, cloth that made by non machinal woven tools. So I think it is indonesian products.

but I found ikat from another country like this picture

we (Indonesia) have so many design of ikats. and ikats is indonesian name. so Indonesia have long experience about ikats, woven clothes

Many center of ikats in Indonesia, for example Jepara, Bali, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Sumatra, Sulawesi island and many. they have their own unique design.
